G.I.R.R.L.S. Buzz

G.I.R.R.L.S. Buzz is the connection between everyday-life and instilling values, morals and dignity. It is about girls, with the support of women of different nationalities, express their passions, dreams, hopes, fears and to explore life. Through buzzing, girls can be heard.

Purpose:

The purpose is to help girls ages 10-18 bond as sisters and to build friendship, confidence, fellowship and empowerment.

The primary goal is to help girls to achieve in their education, to be successful, avoid violence, avoid teen pregnancy, conflicts and make concrete decisions. To develop social, emotional and intellectual tools to help them create a positive and passionate life vision.

Mission of the Program:

Our mission is committed to being the national program for motivating girls to succeed in reaching their goals and fulfilling their dreams.

Pledge:

I want to become a positive role model and encourage others to do the same. I have a purpose of passion to succeed and achieve my goals. I want to make a difference in the world around me. I am a buzz to be heard.”

What’s the buzz all about?

G.I.R.R.L.S.

Grace– Kindness from God we don’t deserve.
Integrity– is when you do the right thing regardless of the circumstance.
Respect– is earned, building a person up instead of tearing them down. Respect is listening without interrupting.
Relationships– Relationships are a connection, tie, association, affinity, bond, kinship or other alliance.
Leadership– it is a process by which a person influence others to accomplish an objective. It is authority.
Self-Esteem– is how one feels about self. It is the measure of ones courage to be an individual.
